change it up a bit as there are just too many cafes here, but really only a few worth going to, so I
have removed those that aren’t worth being listed. The rankings reflect the cafes as a whole
(girls, venue, coffee, food, service, girls, smoking/non-smoking, and girls). These are only the

1. Remedy Cafe

Remedy is located in San Jose on the corner of Murphy Ave. and Old Oakland happens to be
conveniently located near my office making it easy for me to come here during my lunch break.
Rosanna owns this shop, and she wisely chose a location near all the tech companies along North
First Street. Remedy is an excellent café, and from the start, Rosanna has run this place the way
I would if I ever owned a café. The talent level is excellent, the place is non-smoking and clean,
there are plenty of TVs, food is great, music is good but not deafening, and the vibe is chill. At
any given time, there are two-three waitresses working, and their waitresses are top notch. They
are extremely friendly and have been known to sit down and chit chat. Typical attire includes
lingerie or bikini. Coffee is $7/cup. You can visit their Instagram site to get updates on who’s

2. Monterey Breeze Cafe

Monterey Breeze (formerly Paradise) remains at the top in my books because of hospitality and
talent. Their staff remains top notch in San Jose, and at any given time, they have about 3 or 4
girls working in lingerie. They have plenty of TVs for your sports viewing pleasure and a nice
outdoor patio with umbrellas and heaters for cold weather. The location is somewhat out of the
way for those working the tech scene, but they do have some great food options at their shop as
well as many options around the café for those engineers looking for a spot to eat and drink Viet
coffee. It’s a good place to come in the evening to hang out also, and they typically show boxing
and MMA fights.
3. HS Coffee & Juices (a.k.a. Hotspot Café)

San Jose, CA 95132

Hotspot remains high in my book because of the great service. The location is a bit far from the
hustle and bustle of Little Saigon, but it is well worth the drive. The attire is strictly PG, but it’s
a somewhat refreshing change from the more risqué cafes. They’ve branded the Hotspot name
and have been known to pass out T-shirts and sweaters with their brand on it. The venue is
spacious, and the waitresses are extremely friendly and attentive. They make an effort to
remember the regulars by name here, which actually gives this place a more intimate feel.
Smoking has been banned completely. They have plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sporting
event, Vietnamese and Korean pop, or EDM and hip hop music videos. During football season,
it’s probably one of the best places to watch every single football game on TV. They offer a
variety of food and drinks for a very affordable price. Beer is on the menu. Coffee is $8/cup.

4. Fantasy Café

Fantasy Café (formerly CN1) is a classic Vietnamese coffee shop to go to. I decided to move it
up because it’s actually been pretty good lately. It is lingerie/bikini only, but their uniforms are
probably the most creative of all the cafes and leaves a little bit to the imagination. Boss lady,
Chi Uyen, has a great eye for Vietnamese café fashion. The waitresses are by far some of the
hottest girls in the history of Vietnamese coffee shops in San Jose. This coffee shop is a great
place to take people who are new to the Vietnamese coffee scene. Fantasy and has banned the
smoking inside all day and night. Coffee is $8/cup. Fantasy closes at 9PM.
5. Em Quyen
1998 Tully Rd.
San Jose, CA 95122
I believe the general consensus is that Em Quyen is the best risqué café right now. Most guys on
this forum love this place, and it’s a constant subject of conversation. It’s a great place to grab a
cup of coffee in the morning before work. With smoking banned all day, this place is one of the
cleanest. Quyen is still one of the prettiest owners around SJ. This place gets packed frequently,
and due to the small size of the café, it’s not uncommon to share tables with complete strangers.
There are plenty of HD TVs to watch your favorite soccer matches or football games. No food is
served here, but you can run next door to Subway and bring your food over to enjoy the games
on TV. Coffee is $8/cup. The shop closes around 5PM.
6. DV Café
1947 McLaughlin Ave
San Jose, CA 95122
DV Café is the newest café in San Jose located right across from EQ and next to Palm Cafe.
Attire is on the same level as EQ. The venue is nice and clean, and it’s non-smoking. The girls
are extremely friendly, and a tip goes a long ways there. If you’re looking for risqueness, this
ranks high on that scale, and I suggest you check it out. Bring lots of cash. Coffee is $8/cup.
This place closes at 5PM.
7. Palm Café
1969 Tully Rd. San Jose, CA 95122

Palm Café still make the list, but as usual, the smoking kills this place. The waitresses rank high
on the hotness scale, and their uniforms are excellen. I would like to visit this place more often,
but I can only stand the cigarettes for so long. Waitresses are generally hot. You can view their
roster on their Instagram. They do serve beer here, which bumps this place up a few spots. I’m
assuming the coffee is $8 here also. This place is open late.
8. Nguyen Espresso
1659 Tully Rd.
San Jose, CA 95122
I’ve decided to move NE up to the #6 spot. They have improved the talent level, but I still
believe the top 5 have the best talent. Risqué factor is like EQ. Venue is small and cramped, but
it is clean (relatively speaking) due to the non-smoking policy. The service is decent. This place
is recommended for newbies to the coffee shop scene if they want to see what these cafes are all
about. Coffee is $6/cup.

DV Sucks. Went to pay for my two coffee drinks, gave a twenty, only got $2 back ($9 a cup). Lady told me to tip the $2 on the table for the waitress which I already did before I went to pay. What an insult for calling me cheap without calling me cheap.
honestly bro – you can get some great mileage at DV sometimes. I just straight up proposition the girls and be like hey, you wanna make like $300 for an hour work back at my place while I’m playing with their titties.
And depending on whether they need rent money or baby daddy was late with the child payments or they need extra for going out or something, it works like 20% of the time. There are 1-2 girls there that are definitely DTF depending on whether they just got paid or not – my experience at least.

A $40. lap dance at one of the bikini bars is “hands to yourself” and breasts/ass are covered. Lap dances at the nudie clubs are $75 & up. All-in-all, a $40/$50 topless/nude lap dance where hands may roam is a pretty good deal in my book -assuming the dancer doesn’t weigh $200#.

Is DV worth going to anymore? It was the hot cafe on par with EQ and NE earlier in the year but the last 3 times I went, it was sparse with few girls and fewer patrons. it just never seemed to be able to get a core stable of high quality girls with awesome figures and personalities. agree/disagree?
a few hotties started and then quit for unknown reasons so I’m a bit biased because quyen is able to hold on to her stable at to EQ so I’m interested to hear what others think.
You’re not alone! Well, unless you hang out at DV… I think they had a handful of great girls that got run off by a combination of no money, and drama with the other girls. I think Bella and Paris kind of run the stable, and if you don’t get along with them you’re out. I’m not sure the owners even have say. Because there are no customers, table tips not enough for girls, they need dances if they going to make money. I’ve dance with Lily and Sara but Paris might crush my hip…

What’s the latest drama in the stable at DV?

Most are in agreement. I was a big proponent of DV in the beginning, they had lots of potential, but quickly spiraled down the drain. Customers stopped going during the week due to the computer policy which also led to the girls begging for lap dances. And fax are not every girl was good at them and customers didn’t want every girl even if they were.
It’s bad biz model because guys felt like if they went there they had to get a dance. And it’s a coffee shop not every guy wants to blow 40 daily on a dance plus drinks. Starz and 369 in the OC offer dances. But they don’t harrass you. They let you know and still do rounds and get hand tipped. And the hand tip isn’t a 5 dollar demand so ultimately the girls make more money and are happier.
Now at DV they do one walk around if no one wants dances they sit unhappy. One of the worse is Sara, always looks tired and unhappy. She’s pretty but man she keeps gaining weight and doesnt even do a good dance. Add that to the inconsistent quality of attractive girls and it’s all bad.
Side note, Jaden, does amazing dances. And is worth visiting if you’re into lap dances.

Literally the first sentence on this website says it is a ranking. Go look. The rest of the paragraph clarifies things about the rankings (personal opinion of Nguyen, criteria used for ranking, etc)
In position 2 is a cafe that isn’t even open yet for business. Every time you go there, they say they’re opening next week. Go there to see construction workers remodeling the place.

I have. Quality is way down. Very few are new. Most are over the hill.
Quality of talent in SJ doesn’t warrant many trips at the moment. Ad to thst high drink prices AND mediocre girls badgering you forb5 bucks every round kills the frequency.

Used to go twice a week in the past. Have gone less than once a month in the past few months. Waitresses ignore everyone and are on their own most of the time. There’s only 3 to 5 at any given time for 30 to 50 customers. They give you about 30 seconds of time when they talk to you. Very rarely you get 5 to 10 mins, but that happens very rarely. Owners have that psycho aggressive personality typical of chihuahuas and certain people. Give them polite feedback or questions and they get mad immediately.
Actually, one correction: I didn’t mean to say waitresses ignore everyone. They attend to everyone, but it is basically 30 seconds and they’re gone. So basically, you get to interact with the waitresses for less than 5 minutes if you sit there for an hour and spend some cash. So most of the time you’re ignored.
This is now true at all the places I used to frequent: EQ, NE, and DV. The others (paradise/mb, remedy, fantasy, palm, etc) are even worse.
